So I had the pleasure of greeting one of my best friends back from his mission in the Philippines on Thursday!

Kaity I and were reminiscing on old times and here is some of what we came up with...

Last night was Doc's last night in town until he comes back in January. It's never too early to get in the Halloween spirit, so we went to Nightmare on 13th! Since it was opening night we also got to partake in the Zombie dance after party! You can tell by this last photo that Doc still has his moves! So happy to have him home!

5 more hours and the large football game RIVALRY between BYU and U of U begins.

Let the BLOGGING begin....

So I have not yet found my way to twitter, but I could not hold back when it came to a whole blog about me! I am still learning the ropes of this whole blog thing so if you have advice for new comers please give it to me!

So the week before school started I got to visit the best of all my best friends! #LAURENTAYLOR (first hash tag ever)

I learned a little culture from the SOUTH

Lesson's Learned:

• Bojangles is a fast food restaurant, not a adjective and or a verb
• If you haven't heard of Long Champs bags...they are $100 dollar bags that are all the rage
• Jack Rogers who? Yes these Nordstrom sandals are a hit as well
• Yes people actually wear visors on a regular day outing
• Did i mention CROAKIES? These would be the little straps that hold on your sunglasses on so they don't get blown off by a windy day!'
• Southern Frat Boys really dress like Southern Frat Boys
• Lauren's boyfriends name is pronounced Chas not Chaz (Its still under review if it's just the southern accent or really pronounced that way)
• Lauren and I still sit up boy talking until the wee hours of the morning
• We have officially switched roles as Lauren no longer sleeps in and I can sleep all day
• Main food groups include: Cucumber Sandwiches, Grits, Fried Okra, Hush Puppies, and FRESH FISH
• A seahawk is UNCW's mascot, but the animal doesn't really exist
• Don't wear high heels to dockside or people will look at you funny
• Having not one thing to do all day is the best feeling (well for a week at least, i don't know long term)
• The Johnny Appleseed: Turkey and apples slices inside on of the best croissants. We need a Sweet and Savory!
• If you thought your hair is naturally straight, try being outside in the humidity

Now I'm back to Utah and school has begun. The first week of school has passed and I feel like it should have been the third week of school. I am stressed figuring out my grad plan and 9 classes this semester is going to be the death of me. I will keep you posted. Well this wraps up my first post. I think I'm really going to start liking this thing!
