Otherwise known as...."Rotten"rua
This place was just crawling with thermal hot spots right and left. Just imagine steam seeping out of the grass and sewage drains. This steam has a nice rotten egg smell, which explains the nickname!

Minus the scent, this town had a lot to offer. First off being the Luge! Riding the gondolas up the mountain made me feel as if I was back in Utah!
I had a few close encounters to wiping out, but somehow managed to stay on my cart :)
The luge was not enough adventure for me, so I added in some of my own adventure on the lift back up!
